Applying Refund of the Value Added Tax

Foreign participants may request refund of the value added tax included in the price of the workshops and hotel price. Participant may receive a refund of value added tax if the workshop relates to business conducted abroad which would have been subject to tax or which would have entitled him to the refund. In case of applying refund, you need an original certificate issued by your local tax office, which shows the nature of business and that you or your organization is registered VAT payer. Registration Fee Includes

Registration fee includes participation in workshop sessions including workshop material. Fee includes also buffét lunch and forenoon and afternoon drinks and snacks.

Depending on the workshop, participants receive one copy of the book Don’t Just Do Something, Stand There or the Future Search - An Action Guide to Finding Common Ground in Organizations and Communities.

Reduced Fees

Any group with more than two who register together will have an rebate of 15 %. Or if you are planning a future search in your community, want training in the methods and cannot afford workshop costs, you may qualify for reduced registration fee if you work full-time for a non-profit or a public agency or you are a full-time student. Letter of Invitation

The organizer can send a letter of invitation, if requested. It should be understood that such a letter is only to help the participant raise travel funds or to obtain a visa and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support.  

Finland is a member of the European Union and visas are not required for citizens of other EU countries. Citizens of non-EU countries should contact the nearest Finnish Embassy or travel agency for further information.
